We aim to display all products accurately, but slight variations in colour or size may occur. Products are supplied by manufacturers, and we cannot be held responsible for batch differences in colour or finish. Availability may vary; if an item becomes unavailable after your order, we will notify you promptly.

7. Delivery

Deliveries are made via courier.

Orders under £150 (inc. VAT): £9.95 (ex. VAT) delivery charge
Orders over £150 (inc. VAT) and within 20 miles of Chorley: free delivery
Certain items (e.g., cable or long lengths) may incur extra charges, shown at checkout
Remote UK locations: charges calculated by postcode

We cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by the courier service. Please avoid booking tradespeople until your order has fully arrived.

Report any missing or damaged items within 3 working days of receiving your order. After this period, courier claims cannot be raised.

8. Payment

Payments are securely processed through Stripe using advanced encryption. Chorley Electrical Traders Limited does not store your payment details; Stripe holds them in encrypted form.

9. Product Returns

If you wish to return an item, please notify us within 14 working days. Refunds are available if products are unused, in original packaging, and in a fully resalable condition. Returns must be made within 30 days of receiving the goods.

We may refuse refunds or apply fees if:

Items are not in resalable condition
Packaging is missing or damaged
Products are returned after 30 days (restocking fees may apply)

Some made-to-order items may incur supplier restocking charges; we will inform you of these by email.

10. Faulty Goods

If an item you purchased is faulty, we will replace it or refund you. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the faulty product.

We may refuse a refund or replacement if the product has been altered or disassembled. In most cases, we will cover the courier cost of returning faulty goods.
